Hi

I want to migrate an old presentation to a newer format like .odp or .ppt (pptx).
http://www.os2site.com/sw/dev/som/somftn.zip

The file is has .ENC extension, which if I change to .PS I was able to convert it to PDF. So it is PostScript

Does anybody knows a way to make postscript back to some presentation format? (.odp, ppt, .prz, etc)

Any ideas?

uhm.. It seems that the easier way will be to re-create the presentation from the generated PDF.

Martin, Lucide has a presentation mode - can't you just use that?

For curiosity - what application is *.enc belonging to?

It is possible to convert *.GX2 files to *.PCX files. You would need GX2PCX.EXE that is part of Show Partner FX v3.4 which is free software that can be downloaded from http://www.megaiq.com/showpartner/ and I have just done that. I was able to convert the slides with it. Since there were 8 pixel wide black bars on the left and right side of each slide, I used GBMSUB.EXE to remove these. The final result is in png format. See attachments.

Well, at the end it took some time but I copied the stuff from the PDF to an ODT presentation.

I uploaded the file to hobbes.

It is a good asset for the EDM/2 wiki.
