Two new and different Snowish themes.

I have created 2 new Snowish icon themes.  These two themes are different from the other Snowish themes already uploaded.

I actually took a program icon and made folders out of it.  These folders are standing up.

One theme is brown and the other is called bluestanding.  I probably should have renamed the brown to brownstanding, however, I did not want to spend the time going back through the its ini file renaming the folders.

Here are the pictures:

The themes located here before being moved to the WPS Wizard directory.

Hi David!

Thank your for all the great themes you created so far.
This really helps to attract new users as the old icons make the complete desktop unattractive to new users.
I think I also need new program and folder icon for my Java movie database...hopefully I find a designer before I release the next version later this year.

Juergen

I have just updated and uploaded to Netlabs incoming Snowish Kde Bluestanding and Brownstanding v2.1. Brownstanding was formally just called brown.  Following advice from Chris, I made the overlays larger.  The advantage is that the smaller icon sizes are more easily recongnized.

I am fixing to go back and try to improve the rest of my themes.  I can include icons in the WPS Wizard theme packages if I know the Object ID's for both the folder and the program icons of the Java Movie Data base.  If the program is not installed, nothing is affected.  If it is and it finds the Object ID's, the programs folder and program object will be replaced with the one from the WPS Wizard themes.

Noia blue 2.1 has been uploaded to Netlabs incoming.  Overlays have been sized a little larger in this version.

Hi David,

one thing I noticed yesterday with the Noia Blue theme. You created a nice icon for the launchpad and assigned it to <WP_LAUNCHPAD> which works ok. If one has a second launchpad (like me) the second one still uses the system default eCS icon. Assigning the icon to the launchpad class instead the ID solves this. The class name is WPLaunchPad. Just a minor thing.

Hi Chris

I just added the class to the Noia blue and warm themes and the Snowish Kde brownstanding and bluestanding themes and uploaded to Netlabs incoming.

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

i would like to thank you for your grandiose work!
I've a little question, is it possible to change the icon(s) of the trashcan?
I knew its a class from XWP or eWP but is there any chance, because the desktop with your icons looks really beautiful, only the trashcan looks like from the early 90's...

Tomas

p.s. sorry for my bad english

Saijin_Naib

As far as I know, it cant be changed :(

DavidG

Saijin is correct.  I have made the same inquiries and the way the trashcan is presently coded, impossible to do.
