Even more thought provoking is: "I wish the APIs and source could be given to someone who would do something with it, instead of just IBM holding onto it". The thing is: what has really happened to all of the IBM Programmers that worked on OS/2? (Let's hope that they have not all died out...

) After all of this time - Do they still have to honor an Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with IBM...?

. Another thing is: Were these Programmers the "smartest" folks that could have been found on the planet; and, if IBM disappears as a company in the near future! Then, what happens to (becomes of) the OS/2 Source-Codes? What good is its use to the world's societies according to Confucius' Philosophy.

Since
Microsoft's Chicago, Serenity Systems International's eComStation and NetLab's EXPLORER are taking so long to arrive... maybe, it is time to begin
exploratory work on
CASSINI.?
