Hi, Saborion2
I'm an ordinary, but interested, enduser. I think it's great when people like Gene shows engagement and show what's possible with eCS. When it comes to applications, I guess the first thing is to get functional, compatible and up to date ones and if possible also native. For my part I really don't care if it's Lotus Notes or something else; OO, Lucide, Firefox, XWLAN are examples of apps we didn't have some years ago which fullfills those demands.
For the last years I've used my eCS computer in my work and studies in a way that hadn't been possible just 5-6 years ago. Connecting to hotspots, reading, writing and sharing documents, doing presentations without worrying about compability, being participant on a modern learning platform and there watching lecture videos, scanning with my USB-scanner, installing my eCS on a dual core laptop etc.
Well, I can't see any reason to be ironic about the recent developement, I rather think one should be quite humble.
