LET AMERICA'S NATIONAL SOFTWARE TESTING LABORATORIES (NSTL) HELP YOUR SOLUTION DEVELOPER TO "ACT"

NSTL is an independent organization recognized as software testing laboratory.

For a limited time, IBM is offering a no-fee program for Solution Developers to test their applications written for English* version of DOS/Windows or OS/2 for OS/2 Warp English Version compatibility.

DOS/Windows applications are specific, but not exclusive, targets for the program.

For DOS/Windows OS/2 applications written for non English Version of operating system application compatibility testing will be announced in future if applicable

What is the program?
"Ready for OS/2 Warp NSTL Tested" Stickers

America's National Software Testing Laboratory (NSTL) will test Solution Developer's provided object code under OS/2 WARP English Version. If successful IBM will provide "NSTL Tested Warp Ready" stickers for software boxes. If there are variance, they will provide the software developer with installation and configuration parameters. These parameters will also be included on the "Technical Connection" CD-ROM publication.

Technical Connection Subscription for 1996

The solution developer will also receive "Technical Connection" Subscription through 1996, at no charge.

No Risk, No Fee

IBM SDO Organisation will pay for this testing and is no risk and no fee for Solution Developer.

How Your Solution Developer can take part in this program?
  • Sign Agreement for putting NSTL Stickers on Product Package
  • The solution developer has to sign an agreement and commit to affix a sticker to product package which states that the product is "Ready for OS/2 Warp, NSTL Tested".
  • Send 2 COPIES of Software to NSTL in USA
  • Solution Developer agrees to provide NSTL with 2 Copies of their software, including documentation.
Why should a solution developer consider the NSTL Application compatibility testing for OS/2 Warp for their DOS, Windows or OS/2 applications?
  • Have a seal of approval from US National Software Testing Laboratory, a nationally and internationally recognized software testing lab.
  • Broaden the appeal of DOS/Windows and OS/2 application program.
