After a long period of thought and deliberation, I have made the decision to close the web site down and halt all future development on the products offered within. Dialog Enhancer has been a large part of my life for 6 years and I have devoted much of my time in pursuit of an enjoyable hobby.

Dialog Enhancer was started whilst I was at university and was born out of my unhappiness with the way OS/2 Warp looked to the end user. The product started off with a strong following, boosted by the bargain price point and unique method of working; it was to top the BMT Micro sales charts on several occasions. The sales justified the time spent redesigning the dialogs and I spent many enjoyable nights crafting and getting feedback from grateful users.

Time has moved on and I am now in full time employment. Much of the spare time I enjoyed in university has now been swallowed up in other business interests and I could no longer offer the service to users that they deserved. It's been a great ride over the years, but now I need to get off and pursue a new challenge.

After a successful hand-over of Dialog Enhancer improved resource files to Serenity Systems for integration into eComStation several years ago, I watching the future of OS/2 develop in a blossoming, strong product. I have decided to pass over the remaining code for their use. Their dedicated team of developers, a healthy mix of end users and industry professionals, have done a stunning job with a product that shows how OS/2 will continue into the next decade. Guys, I salute you.

To all existing users of Dialog Enhancer, I would like to thank you for your support and hope that you would pass on your encouragement and comments to the new development team managing the software in the near future.

Thank you,

Richard

Note, the site will close as of the 8th June 2004."
