General Comments

This machine has been tested with ArcaOS 5.0.3 by Roberto Gainza [1] The first impressions of this team with ArcaOS 502 more updates, are very satisfactory. The installation without problems all by default is ok 100%, even the change of the previous equipment to this was very simple just install the two hard drives of the previous one in this and it was only necessary to modify the virtualaddreslimit to 3072. The rest was perfect. And I still have an e-sata output for another free external disk, which works perfect.

As settings:

  • HT hypertracking ON works better. And the Enable Shadow Buffer screen.
  • The virtualization of other systems perfect with 5.0.6_OSE r143, although the ubuntu in graphic mode is too slow both at high resolutions.

In summary, everything important works very well. Virtualbox, OpenOffice, Dbexpert, Pmview, Seamonkey2-42-9esr-r3, Thunderbird and many others.

Problems detected: The external usb mouse if I leave it connected in the boot does not recognize it, but if I connect it after booting without problems. The mahjong fails and the Find .. with save results sometimes fails.
