Supported Chipsets
Only a few different chipsets are supported, but I'm still working hard on this...
- Matrox
MGA G200, G250, G400, G450 and G550 chipsets have been well-tested and are well-supported. The support status for these chipsets is stable.
- ATI
3D Rage, 3D Rage II+, 3D Rage IIC, 3D Rage Pro, 3D Rage LT, 3D Rage LT Pro, Rage XL and Rage Mobility have been tested. Support status for these chipsets is stable. ATI Rage 128 and ATI Radeon family chipset support is undergoing development. The support status for these chipsets is experimental.
- NVIDIA
Theoretically, all GeForce-family chipsets should work but I've only actually tested a small number of cards. GeForce2 MX200, GeForce2 MX400, GeForce2 GTS and GeForce2 Ti have been tested. The support status for these chipsets is beta.
- S3
S3 has put out a lot of chipsets that vary ever-so-slightly from one another. The differences make it impossible to make a single driver that supports all of them. ViRGE GX2, Trio3D 2X, Savage3D, Savage4, Savage/IX, ProSavage and Twister are supported. The support status for these chipsets is experimental.
