AMOS is a DOS-program, that enables you to read and write your HPFS-formatted drive from native DOS.

AMOS v3 is capable of seamlessly mounting HPFS partitions from native DOS, making them accessible from within all ordinary DOS and Windows programs. Files with long filenames are visible as well, using a truncated version of the name.
