Prior to installing Warp 3 and Warp 4 versions onto ATA (EIDE) harddisks larger than 4.3 GB (resp. 3.9 GiB) you will have to do the following first (already included in the Warp 4 Installation Diskettes Update):
- make a copy of diskette 1
- add SET COPYFROMFLOPPY=1 as the first entry to the CONFIG.SYS file of the copied diskette 1
- replace IBM1S506.ADD, IBMIDECD.FLT and OS2DASD.DMD with the files from IDEDASD.EXE on the copied diskette 1 (rename DASD32.DMD for Warp Server for e-business and later, DASD16.DMD for older Warp versions)
- start the installation with the copied and modified diskette 1
Hard disks with capacities larger than 137 GB (resp. 128 GiB) require IBM1S506.ADD build level 10.117 or higher (IDEDASD Support dated 2003-06-18 or later). Or you can replace IBM1S506.ADD with DaniS506 as well.
