Changing a folder's (even the Desktop's) background in OS/2 Warp is as simple as drag and drop:

  1. Click on a folder or the Desktop with the right mouse button and select the "Properties" menu item.
  2. In the folder's Properties Notebook, select the "Background" tab.
  3. Arrange your windows so the "Preview" box in the Properties Notebook and the bitmap you want to use are both visible.
  4. Using your right mouse button, drag the bitmap you wish to use into the "Preview" box.
