"Audio Recorder" is a command line audio playing and recording tool. It has two executable files, replay.exe and record.exe
You can record a wav file by running:
record /a1 /b16 /c1 /f44100
- /a1
- sets the adapter to Ampmix01. The number depends on the order of devices listed on "Multimedia Setup".
- /b16
- sets the number of bits to 16.
- /c1
- sets the number of channels to 1.
- /f44100
- sets the frequency to 44100.
Examples
If you want to record from your USB audio device and it is the second audio drive recognized on "Multimedia Setup", you can set /a2 like:
record /a2 /b16 /c1 /f44100
