I've tested the following successfully with Windows 2000 SP2 German, HPFS and HPFS386. I can't promise that this will work on your system, too. This is a dangerous procedure, so backup your whole system before you apply this patch.
Someone sent me a mail, he told me that this only works if the HPFS partition is smaller than 8GB.
Use it at your own risk
- Download [hpfsw2k.zip]
- Unzip hpfsw2k.zip and copy RS.DLL and patched PINBALL.SYS to /WINNT/SYSTEM32/DRIVERS
- Enter the information from hpfs.reg (included in hpfsw2k.zip) into the registry (just double-click it)
- Reboot
- Mount your HPFS volumes
