SPG, Inc. was a developer of computer graphics software from Miami Lakes, FL.
History
In December 1994 SPG released the 32-Bit OS/2 Image Editor ColorWorks which featured DIMIC (Dynamic In-Memory Image Compression) and advanced parallel processing architecture (named SMP Smart Threading). In February 1996 it was followed by ColorWorks V2 in companion with ColorWorks V1+ as an entry level product. SPG was shipping native German and French language versions of their products in Europe starting in August 1996 through european distributor COMPO Software GmbH from Aachen, Germany. Solution Technology Inc. (STI) TWAIN offered support for scanners.
