ProEdit is a small fast text editor with customisable syntax highlighting based upon the file extension. The highlighting information does not need to be "pre-compiled" in to any special format and can be edited while being used. The information is stored in a very similar format to the keywords file used with EPM.
ProEdit for OS/2 is complied using only fPrint's Virtual Pascal compiler - an excellent 32-bit Pascal compiler with brilliant Borland compatibility.
Known Problems...
ProEdit's editor windows should not be minimised - it causes a massive runaway memory leak. This software is early alpha.
