VMware ESXi is a virtualization platform that installs and runs on the server to be virtualized. It is also known as "VMware vSphere® Hypervisor"
Installation Procedure
eComStation 2.1

eComStation boots and install correctly on ESXi.
Once you create the virtual machine the OS installation is very straight forward like installing other OSes on ESXi. Remember that to install and create a Virtual Machine you need to use VMWare vSphere client under Windows.
There was nothing special on the custom eCS instal boot, I just added ACPI support to test multiple cores.
- Tested version: VMWare ESXi 5.5.0 B1331820

USB
If on the virtual machine you enable USB 1.x/2.x support, on the eComStation installation procedure it will recognise one EHCI port and one UHCI port.
Further testing needed.
Power
Mensys ACPI driver can shutdown the virtual machine without any problems.
Network
On the installation the default ESXi network driver gets recognized as "AMD PCnet Ethernet Family Adapter". It works without problems.
