  • Insert DOS Bootable diskette in Drive A:
  • Boot system (Ctrl-Alt-Del or Power On Computer)
  • Remove DOS diskette from Drive A:

                - Press ENTER key
                - Remove diskette from Drive A:
                - Label this diskette REPLACEMENT DISK 1 FOR OS/2 2.1
                - Insert DOS diskette in Drive A:

3) MAKE TEMPORARY COPY OF DISK 1

                 - Press Enter key
                 - This process will take a lot of time due to the copying

                 - When this above operation has completed,
insert original DISK 1 from OS/2 package:

                              COPY A:bundle B:
                 - This time the ORIGINAL OS/2 2.1 DISK 1 is the SOURCE disk
and the REPLACEMENT DISK 1 is the TARGET disk.
