TVShow is a program that, when used in conjunction with Bt878-based cards, brings TV to the OS/2 desktop. I wrote this program because the existing desktop TV solutions slow down other programs on my OS/2 system.

  • Windowed display of colour and black & white video, through on any video card supporting DIVE
  • Support for PAL and SECAM-encoded colour
  • Dynamic regulation of picture parameters
  • Channel setup (configurable from video.cfg file)
  • Enablement of sound

Note: The last two items have only been tested with AverMedia TVPhone98
