This are some comments and suggestion I found on the internet about maintaining the INI files in OS/2.
CheckINI
CheckINI is included on the WPTools suite. It will check the OS2.INI and OS2SYS.INI files.
checkini /c /r
checkini /c /dd:\desktop /y:2
Cleaning
This is a suggestion using CheckINI and CleanINI.
checkini /c /r
Followed by:
cleanini /C /LogDel /MultiPass
