The SSIIM program is made for use in River/Environmental/Hydraulic/Sedimentation Engineering. It calculates water, sediment flow and water quality in three dimensions, solving the Navier-Stokes equations with the k-epsilon turbulence model. The convection-diffusion equations are solved to calculate sediment transport and water quality constituent transport. The calculations are time-dependent and an adaptive grid moves vertically to account for changes in water and bed level. | The SSIIM program is made for use in River/Environmental/Hydraulic/Sedimentation Engineering.
