FWATCH is a utility that logs file open requests. It uses the OS/2 security hooks in Warp 4. FWATCH logs file open attempts and their result codes to a COM port or in a text window.

Among other things, FWATCH can help find problems with RIPL configurations. If a RIPL machine fails to boot, or an applications program fails, then FWATCH can help with problem determination.

FWATCH requires OS/2 Warp 4 (Merlin).
