Changing a folder's (even the Desktop's) background in OS/2 Warp is as simple as drag and drop:

  • Click on a folder or the Desktop with the right mouse button and select the "Properties" menu item.
  • In the folder's Properties Notebook, select the "Background" tab.
  • Arrange your windows so the "Preview" box in the Properties Notebook and the bitmap you want to use are both visible.
  • Using your right mouse button, drag the bitmap you wish to use into the "Preview" box.
Tip
In Warp 4, you can use different types of bitmaps as backgrounds -- filetypes BMP, GIF, and JPG are supported.
Tip
Use Light Tables (shown) to organize your bitmaps visually.

It's just that easy!
