Service Information

The 9585/9595 SVGA Video Card supports the following:

Display Modes and Refresh Rates
OP SYSTEM CLR REFRESH
DOS or OS/2-DOS Fullscreen (Note 1) 640 x 480 x 256 60,72,75
800 x 600 x 256 56,60
1024 x 768 x 16 43.5 Interlaced
OS/2 2.x (Note 2) 640 x 480 x 256
Windows 3.1 (Note 3) 640 x 480 x 16
Windows NT 1.x (Note 3) 640 x 480 x 16
Notes
1 Needs the TSR from the SVGA Adapter Support Diskette that ships with the system.
2 OS/2 Installs with 640 x 480 x 16 (Std VGA mode) You must run DSPINSTL from an OS/2 Prompt to get the extended support and OS/2 2.0 must have Service Pack XR6055 installed. This is the minimum level of OS/2 that supports this enhanced mode.
3 Only standard VGA is supported (640 x 480 x 16)

There are no Window drivers for the SVGA card that is used in the Server 85. The SVGA card provides the user low cost video in the server market.
