P1019 - OS/2 Facilities Workshop

This classroom course is an introduction to Operating System/2 (TM) (OS/2 (R)) Version 1.2 Operating System. The student is introduced to Presentation Manager (TM), Data Base Manager and Communications Manager. The architecture of the machine and of the OS/2 Operating System will be discussed. The student will also participate in "hands-on" labs covering OS/2 Operating System installation, Presentation Manager User Interface, Query Manager, and the multi-tasking features of the OS/2 Operating System.
This classroom course is recommended for those responsible for implementing or supporting the OS/2 Operating System.

Objectives
After completing this course, a student should be able to:
- Install OS/2 Extended Edition Version 1.2 Operating System
- Provide basic support to OS/2 EE Version 1.2 end users.

This classroom course is recommended for those responsible for implementing or supporting the OS/2 Operating System.
Prerequisites:
- Discover OS/2 Introduction and Implementation (DE012).
- Equivalent experience may be substituted.
