SysBar/2 is a set of utilities for OS/2 that look like small toolbars filled with some useful stuff. All the modules have the same look, behavior and controls. This makes it easier to use them and explore the new ones.
The main idea of the project is to design a set of tools which will save your desktop space keeping all the functionality you need. And it really does that! All the modules are small (both on screen and in EXE-size - not like those modern monster applications), easy to use and configure.
SysBar/2 utility set consists now of the four modules:
- CD PLAYER - a tiny but useful CD player
- CLOCK - a digital clock with calendar
- PIPE MONITOR - a pipe monitor: the utility to retrieve system information, to read data from any number of named pipes and display this in the useful form as a row of cells
- TASK SWITCHER - a powerful floating task switcher
- Features
- floating on top of other windows (with pop-up on mouse movement option);
- variable window size;
- corner bind feature (a possibility to bind a window to any corner of the screen);
- lock position feature;
- text configuration files (to allow easy modifying and program setup).
