  • Some clarifications on performance boosting:

If you have more than 6 megabytes of RAM, OS/2 in general works better with HPFS file system. With proper cache size you increase the performance by 150% over FAT file system for I/O intensive applications -also for loading programs etc. If the hard disk is formatted as HPFS OS/2 will put in your CONFIG.SYS:
