It seems that Dooble is unable to pass cloudflare security !

SeaMonkey gets a little further with a different user agent.
The Qt6 build of Dooble gets the furthest, showing a prove you're human checkbox and getting stuck there.
I've seen others on different platforms complaining about cloudflare, hopefully it doesn't become more common.

Dooble 2022.04.04 on Qt 6.2.4 works for me under Ubuntu...

Could Cloudfare be preventing realclimatescience.com as a scam? It's name looks too similar to realclimate.org, which is an award-winning climate website. If you are selling a sweetened soda, you cannot call it Coca-Cola-Drink.

https://www.cloudflare.com/ does display, even on Firefox 45, which seems odd. Why would they display their own website, but not that of a paying customer?

Cloudfare's web page says they protect against threats, and a websites with a fake names are a legitimate threat. Not that the realclimatescience.com website is a threat. It's just an opinion website. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. The name of the website does seem a bit questionable.

Incidentally, realclimate.org does not display on Dooble or on Firefox45. Cloudfare does not seem to be involved.

Shutting down the browser and clearing the cache seems to have fixed that. Still long term doesn't look good if more sites use cloudflare.

Mark various DLL's to load high. Start with "highmem -c \usr\lib\Qt5*dll"

To Me, the qt6 console shows me this, about the cloudflare.
Font size 0, but in qt6 you can't define a font with zero size 0.
I don't know if this has anything to do with qt5 dooble.
Code: [Select]

js: The resource https://challenges.cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/challenge-platform/h/
b/cmg/1/0PYvh20f7NxtAoFHU2%2BAhXOepSu4FkSP7rocGyVZm68%3D was preloaded using lin
k preload but not used within a few seconds from the window's load event. Please
make sure it has an appropriate `as` value and it is preloaded intentionally.
js: %c%d font-size:0;color:transparent
js: %c%d font-size:0;color:transparent
js: %c%d font-size:0;color:transparent
js: %c%d font-size:0;color:transparent
js: [Cloudflare Turnstile] Cannot find Widget cf-chl-widget-mp5ag, consider usin
g turnstile.remove() to clean up a widget..

Was already done but idn't change the low shared storage utilization

Unluckily, you probably can't reduce it too much more, I'm seeing about 43 MB of low shared memory usage, along with a few hundred MB's of high shared memory.
Helps to have VIRTUALADDRESSLIMIT as high as you can without instability.
Truth is that upstream doesn't care too much about memory as they don't care about 32 bit systems much anymore. There likely are ways to lower the webengines memory usage, need Dmitiry to get back to working on it and it sounds like he has a lot on his plate with us being low priority.
As an aside, github just got worse with Dooble-Qt5, no longer displaying the code and such. It's depressing.

I could reduce near 8% of Dooble low shared storage use after setting following dll highmem
What I see is when dooble is up and first page loaded (qwant lite in my case), about 10Mb of low storage are taken !
It is not a lot but it allow to work safer with other pgms
The one using a lot of storage : libcn0 but can not be set to highmem or many problem may occur
crypt011 <--  highmem
avform58 <-- highmem
avutil56 <--  highmem
glib20.dll <-- highmem
icu*.dll <-- highmem
unistri2 <-- highmem
gtls30 <-- highmem
ssl10 + ssl11) <-- highmem

Hello Dave

A newer Dooble release (2024.01.25) is available. Can you please check if it compiles and works for us?
