Well, I finally came around to go through all software CDs that I got and thought that I would remove duplicates and other CDs that I don't have the need for. The item will be sold at eBay.com and I will add the items when I managed to sort out all the documentation and CDs.

Links will be posted to this thread when items are available at eBay, so if you want to be notified about the items in above list, please then use the option Notify me of replies under Additional Options.

Following 4 items has now been listed at eBay:

  • OS2 Warp Connect 3.0 English (Red & Blue version) (no box, manual, cd)
  • OS2 Warp Server for e-business English (ServerPak, ClientPak, Netfinity, Domino, Security Feature 1/2 and 386 HPFS Upgrade) (complete with box, manuals, cd)
  • OS2 Warp v4.0 English (complete box with manuals and shrink-wrapped cd and diskettes)

And here is todays added item:

I have never heard of the "IBM Gadgets for OS2 WARP" CD.  If it contains non-licensed programs, then you should offer copies of it rather than the original so more than just one person can enjoy its contents.... John.

Hmm great idea; I checked the CD and the little folder that comes along with it says that the CD contains Shareware, Freeware and Demoware and was published by IBM United Kingdom. So one way or another making this CD available as ISO image shouldn't be any problem. I do want to check the content of the CD a little bit more proper before doing so.

Going a bit slow here but been busy, so here are two more items now listed at eBay:

Glenn

Kim, you have very nice items for sale !

I have been looking for some time for WorkSpace on-Demand (and for the HPFS386 pack for WSeB), I even put a "want-it now" for WSoD on eBay without getting any answers. I just hope (you certainly do not hope so..) that the items I want will stay at reasonable prices (i.e. within my student's budget). Embellish is another good choice.

If I manage to get them, the only software I'd like to have on top of my little library would be the old Maple and Mathematica for OS/2 (I do not know if there has been a Matlab for OS/2), but seeing them on eBay would really be a miracle.

I got several question if I will combine shipment and I will; I will also try to do my best to add the rest of the items this weekend so those of you going for multiply items can plan for that.

Following new item has been added today:

  • OS2 Warp v4.0 English (no box with manuals and 4 cd)
  • OS2 Warp Server English (no box, no manuals, both normal and advanced version including the SMP version, 3 cd, 2 diskettes)
  • OS2 PC DEMOpkg First Edition (9 cd, folder, complete)

Glenn

Hi Kim,

What is precisely the DEMOpkg ? I see in the eBay description that this is a collection of various pieces of software, but are they full version or time-limited version, as the name "demo" would indicate ?

AyPP

kim

It's full version of all included software; it's a software package that was distributed internal at IBM Software to be used to set up and install demo environment for customers and as well internal.

Just a few more items:

I see your "IBM Gadgets for OS/2" CD sold on eBay.  I tried to purchase it, but was outbid overnight.  I would still like a copy, and I am willing to pay a reasonable price, just to see what was in it.  Did you happen to capture it to an ISO image before you sent it off ???   Or maybe you could ask the person who bought it if they would like to share ???
