When you run ArcaOS or eCS or OS/2 Warp 4.5 you can press "Alt+F1" at startup (when the OS/2 little box shows) to access a special menu (called the "Recovery Choices menu") to help you with some troubleshooting.

F2

The F2 option will allow you to boot OS/2, but it will send you to the command line.

Some important notes:

  • This boot procedure uses "?:\os2\boot\config.x" for config.sys.
  • You can execute "SET | more" or "ENV | more" to view the environmental variables that are stored.
  • You can also execute (for example) "echo %PATH%" to see the contents of the environmental variable PATH.
