Changing ArcaOS Boot Logo
Since ArcaOS 5.1 there are two kinds of Boot Logos that are available in the system.
- The classic OS/2 Warp Boot Logo, called .LGO format.
- A new high resolution Boot Logo for UEFI systems.
Classic OS/2 Logo
To change the boot logo on this case you need to first change the attributes of the OS2LOGO hidden file in the root of the system.
To do that just execute the attrib command in the root location:
"attrib -s -h -r os2logo"
After that you can replace the OS2LOGO with file in the correct format.
About the LGO Format
"The OS/2 Boot Logo format is used under OS/2 Warp versions 3 and 4 for storing the boot logo. The boot logo is the image that is shown at first when OS/2 starts up after a re-boot.
Under Warp 3, the size of the boot logo image is 640x400 pixels. The VGA resolution used at boot time is 640x480. Warp 3 reserves 80lines at the bottom of the screen for showing copyright information. This space cannot be used and thus the size of the boot logo must be 640x400. (Using a 640x480 boot logo under Warp 3 will result in an OS/2 TRAP at system startup.) Warp 4 does not reserve this space and a full-screen 640x480 boot logo may be used under Warp 4.
The boot logo file is located on the root of the OS/2 boot drive. The name of the file is OS2LOGO and by default the file has the system attributes hidden, system, and read-only set.
The default extension is LGO."

High Resolution Logo for ArcaOS 5.1 or Later
If you are using ArcaOS 5.1 or later with an UEFI system enabled, ArcaOS will boot with a nice high resolution logo, instead of the classic LGO format logo.
The file is called "AOSLOGO" and is located in the root location like C:\. It is know that ArcaOS 5.1 comes with a 800x600 PNG file logo, but some other resolutions had been tested to work like 1920×1080.
