Eudora under WinOS2, submitted by Eric Larson on 5 Feb 1996
Three configuration changes are needed for Eudora under WinOS2:
1) The program tcpcntl.exe must be run before the WinOS2 session is started. Locate the program icon in X:\tcpip\dos\bin (X:=boot drive) and move a shadow into the startup folder (double-click the icon to start the program for the current session).
[Ed. note: I'm not certain that this first step is necessary... DLM
2) The autoexec.bat for WinOS2 (usually X:\autoexec.bat) needs to have the line "set etc=X:\tcpip\dos\etc" (no quotes).
3) Copies of the "hosts" and "resolv" files need to be in the X:\tcpip\dos\etc subdirectory. In a properly configured system, these files should already exist in X:\mptn\etc as "hosts" and "resolv2" (rename resolv2 to resolv in the X:\tcpip\dos\etc sub-directory).
