Microsoft has failed in its attempt to get OOXML document format fast-tracked straight to the status of an ISO standard. So Microsoft is now forced to revise their suggestion and by that take in account the netative comments as well.
We haven't heard the last about this since Microsoft is quoted to said that it expects a second vote early next year will result in approval. Question is now if the last couple of activities from Microsoft will repeat itself or if they have learned anything.
