Diamond Flower Electric Instrument (DFI) recently launched a new Pentium 4 motherboard line, the NT72-S series. Based on Intel's Rambus DRAM-supporting 850E chipsets, the NT72-S line comes in four models, including two “AC0”-suffixed revision products that are able to support Intel's upcoming Hyper-Threading-based P4 processors.
Offering four RIMM slots, the NT72-S series can support PC600/800/1066 memory with a maximum capacity of 2GB.
For other expansion and connection capability, DFI's latest 850E motherboards are designed with five PCI slots, one AGP 4x port and two on-board USB ports.
Integrating Intel's 82562ET chip, the NT72-SA and NS72-SA rev. AC0 boards also provide LAN (local area network) connectivity.
