NEC has developed a 2.7-inch screen for telephones and PDA's with a brightness of 180 cd/m2 and a power consumption of 220 mW. This QVGA (320x240) screen has a viewing angle of 80 degrees from top to bottom and 70 degrees from left to right, with a 10:1 contrast ratio and 260000 colors.
