Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Ben's Guestbook, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct Cross-Site Scripting attacks against other users.

User input supplied to the "Comments" field is not validated, which can be exploited by posting a malicious entry in the guest book. Script code will be executed in a user's current browser session associated with the website, when the entry is viewed.

Successful exploitation can result in disclosure of various information (e.g. cookie-based authentication information) associated with the site running Ben's Guestbook or inclusion of malicious content, which the user thinks is part of the real website.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.0.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that user input is properly validated before being used.
