Warpstock Europe organizes a design contest, where you can win free entrance to Warpstock Europe 2000 and a free Handout CDROM, when your design is being used for this year's advertising or poster print.
Last year we had an ad in the computer magazine Toolbox and you might remember our poster for the event in 1999. For new ads and posters we are looking for sketches or ready-to-use designs, that in short and consise point to OS/2 and to our fair. All submissions will be evaluated under professional help.
Manually created sketches should be scanned in. If computer software is being used, designs should best be created by programs storing the result in vector graphic format.
The complete material (pictures and a textfile with SHORT explanation) is to be packed as a zip file not larger than 2 megabytes.
Please send this file as an email attachment until June 30, 2000 to
If you are using bitmaps for your design, please think of that the bitmaps must have a very high resolution, so that your design can be printed with 600 dpi on an A3 format. Should the resolution not be good enough for that, your design might still be useable in an advertisement print.
For our preview your bitmaps may have either of both a lower resolution or color depth, so that your mail will not get that large (see conditions of participation)
