From: The Notebook/2 Site

Hi,

I want to inform you about recent updates to the Notebook/2 site. I still have to catch up with a lot of various input I received over the past months.

Added the Compaq Presario 18XL584, which has a PIII at 1000 MHz. The machine works fine, only DOS support wasn't working. This may be solved by now, since the SDD final is out.

Updated info for the IBM Thinkpad 560X

Uploaded info on the IPC TopNote F219, a Celeron/E with 800 MHz machine. It runs with eCS, but there is no sound support.

Uploaded info on the Kapok 3300B, a Pentium III 550 MHz machine. It works, but hasn't been tested with PCMCIA-support.

Added the IBM Thinkpad X22, PIII 800 MHz. Seems to work fine, built-in Lucent modem, USB and IR haven't been tested yet.

Added a link to the driver page for Crystal audio chipset CS4299 from IBM
- designed for the IBM Thinkpad X22, may also work for others with this chipset?

Updated links on my index.htm page to Sibyl and Virtual Pascal.

Some people informed me that some project is going on regarding universal audio support for OS/2. Hope this will be completed soon.

Cheers!

Martin
