I have posted a new update to the Dialog Enhancer support (English) for eComStation. This update and/or the corresponding update to eCS Fixtool (3 of 3) should solve some of the strange behavior in some modules.
>From the dlgupdten.txt:
The dlgupdten.cmd is designed to solve some of the problems that have been encountered with the Dialog Enhancer updates from Serenity Systems.
1. Some modules shipped and installed from the eCS GA CD were not the original IBM modules. This results in the dlgxr04501enb.zip file built from the installation CD by the ecsupdt.cmd being incorrect. The base modules in this zip file are used by the ecsupdt.cmd when applying the Dialog Enhancer updates.
2. Some modules had incorrect resource files shipped in ssi4501.zip. These resource files are used by the ecsupdt.cmd to apply the Dialog Enhancer updates, and the result is incorrectly updated modules when the Dialog Enhancer updates are applied.
This update addresses both issues by updating the base source modules on the applicable boot drive, updating ssi4501.zip with the updated resource definition, and updating the affected modules with the Dialog Enhancer updates.
You may also address issue 2 by downloading the latest ssi4501.zip file (eCS Fixtool 3 of 3) and re-applying the Dialog Enhancer updates.
The modules affected are:
OS2DLLEHXDLMRI.DLL (Text Editor)
OS2INSTALLMIGRATE.EXE (Add Programs)
OS2DLLPMMRGRES.DLL (multiple applications)
OS2DLLPMSDMRI.DLL (multiple applications)
OS2APPSDLLPMSEEK.DLL (eComStation Seek and Scan Files)
OS2DLLPMWP.DLL (multiple applications, icons only)
OS2DLLSCENTER.DLL (eComCenter)
