RexxMail is an object-oriented e-mail system fully integrated with the OS/2 Workplace Shell, the best graphical user interface available. In addition to the ease of use associated with the WPS environment, RexxMail offers a command-line interface that includes full access to its extensive range of configuration options.
This release of RexxMail introduces the CWMailFile class by Chris Wohlgemuth, providing enhanced mail folder sorting options and details views.
Other new features in this release include:
- Interactive mail collection from POP3 servers;
- Automatic mail collection from POP3 servers without deleting messages;
- Mailbox distribution of files retrieved from a shared POP3 account;
- Plain text extraction from HTML message content;
- Switches to create, and optionally open on the desktop, new messages in local folders or the user's "Out" folder, optionally attaching specified files.
RexxMail is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License, see
