For anyone interested in the ability to play multiple multimedia format with OS/2 Warp, I'd like to draw your attention to a great little utility called QuickView for DOS.
Yes, that's right -- DOS! (Which means it runs beautifully under OS/2 Warp, of course.)
You can get QuickView for DOS (shareware evaluation copy) by visiting the homepage and also find out more about licensing QuickView source code. (Perhaps someone would like to develop a native player and/or plug-in? QuickView runs in a full screen DOS session, and for best results you'll need to make sure you have an audio adapter which supports SoundBlaster-type audio in DOS sessions. You should also follow the instructions in the QuickView documentation to change the DOS session's settings.
Here's a list of the multimedia formats supported by QuickView for DOS:

It looks like QuickView's authors are tracking the OpenDivX code pretty closely, so perhaps someday we'll have a DOS DVD player. :-)
