[Sane = Scanner Access Now Easy - a package from Linux to access Scanners - best used with a frontend such as Tame - http://www.os2world.com/goran/tame.htm]

Another new build of v1.0.5 - resynchronised my source tree as of 20:00 16th June South Australian time :)

I had to backlevel dc25.c as I got an error on linking otherwise.

One quirk with this build, is that running scanimage.exe with no parameters displays no output for about 10-15 seconds before coming up with the umax_pp warnings. I may just disable the umax_pp backend on the next build to to these warnings/errors.

Umax backend has been updated to support threading on OS/2 and should now
work.

HP and Snapscan and a few of the lesser used backends (I don't have my
list handy) still won't work either.

Latest build can be downloaded from
ftp://psmedley.dyndns.org:21029/incoming/sane-1.0.5-latest.zip

or from my new, superduper web page (big grin) at
http://users.bigpond.net.au/psmedley/sane/

For instructions on using Sane for OS/2 please read the information at the webpages I've pointed out on my Sane webpage.

Regards,

Paul Smedley.
