The OS/2 community has been very responsive to our new postings. Unfortunately, those of you trying now to read the OS/2-related articles at the IACT website may run into a temporary DNS glitch if you use the 'www.iact.net' address. Please accept our apologies, and use the direct IP addresses below as a workaround in the meantime.
Rest assured that Issue #10 of the IACT Quarterly Newsletter still is on-line. Highlights include operating systems e.g. FreeBSD and OS/2, the Internet 'munchies' and creative software solutions using DOS and OS/2 apps as 'leanware' examples, e.g. the new Draw-It.
OS/2 is featured also in our latest IACT 24x7 Report 'Solutions for e-Mail: Some Lessons from REXX, BeOS and OS/2' focusing on compatibility, security and user choice, and introducing the new OS/2 freeware app, RexxMail, an e-mail handler developed with REXX.
Visit IACT's website to find out about the possibilities of RexxMail, BeOS, OS/2, FreeBSD, leanware and much more.
