A marketing issue for eCS is the "eCS or SWC" thing. I've been working with IBM to get a more forthcoming view of what SWC holds for users this year. Today the item is posted (though it is dated Jan 25).

You can go to http://www-4.ibm.com/software/os/warp/swchoice/ and put your cursor over "News" .. and read the "Our intent is to deliver the following features in 2001:" statement. It's brief document with one line relevant
to the OS/2 client.

That line is: New OS/2 browser based on the Mozilla open source.

This information will help users determine the relative value of eCS and SWC, and the eCS Upgrade Protection Program.

Regards,
Bob
