This was posted today in ibm.software.vacpp.misc:

Today my IBM representative has informed me that the worldwide protests against the support stop for VACPP for Windows and OS/2 after Jan 31 2001 have made the resposible managers rethink that decision.

Support will now be continued for all platforms for a jet undefined time. However that does not mean there will or will not be new releases for any platform, it just means they are finally thinking about it at the moment.

Sincerely
Peter Koch
