There seems to be a problem with the FixPak for Java 1.1.8 that was
announced on WarpCast the other day.

Some keyboard input doesn't seem to work correctly once this service
pack is installed. In particular, the Desktop OnCall sign-in screen
will let username and password be typed in, but won't change from one
field to another with the tab key. Once logged in, the main DeskTop
OnCall applet won't accept any keyboard input at all, though mouse
input works just fine. Similarly, the Java Telnet applet doesn't
allow any keyboard input at all. Hot Java seems to behave the way
that the Desktop OnCall sign-in applet does (ie: text input works,
but not all control keys do).

Tests with the applet viewer and hotJava indicate that it is not a
Netscape problem, but a Java problem.

This has been reported by several people in comp.os.o2.bugs.
