On 2007-09-20 the final version 1.35 of the Java Movie Database (JMDB) has been released.

The Java Movie Database (JMDB) is a Java program which stores the data from the IMDb Text files (Internet Movie Database - http://www.imdb.com) in several MySQL/PostgreSQL tables.
After you have imported the data, you can search for actors, movies, producers and actors. You can also search for movies released on a special date or within a timeframe. About the movies and people a lot of details are shown (depending which IMDb text files you did import).
There is also a simple PDF-Export using the iText library included.

Compared to the forth Beta several small errors have been fixed and the supported languages have been updated. JMDB supports currently 8 languages (English, German, Spanish, Dutch, French, Russian, Swedish and Serbian).
All Extensions of previous beta versions are included.

A detailed changelist is available on the project website plus Flash videos and screenshots:
http://www.jmdb.de/

We are still looking for people to translate the application into other languages.
Please contact us via eMail (see website).
