Paul Smedley has created a port of ISC's DHCP client version 3.1.2. http://www.smedley.info/os2ports/

http://www.smedley.info/os2ports/index.php?page=isc-dhcp-client
"We have tried to make this version compatible with IBM's old version - which should make it work even when configured from MTPS and TCP/IP.

The client should work out of the box for most situations. If your network requires special configuration, please read all of ISC docs (original man pages included), and change dhclient.conf to your needs.

The client has only been tested on eComstation 1.2 and 2.0 (RC's) but it should work on OS/2 4.52 too. It might work on earlier versions of OS/2, but that is not tested.

ISC DHCP Client v3.1.2 - updated 20090416 http://download.smedley.info/Dhcp-client-preview2.zip

REQUIRES: libc063.dll  - ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/libc-0.6.3-csd3.zip
gcc433.dll - http://download.smedley.info/gcc433.zip

Please let Paul know if you find this software useful.  He needs user
feedback to continue work on these projects.  He maintains a bug tracker for many projects at http://mantis.smedley.info  It just requires a simple registration.

===== Additional Note ======
Hi,

Just a minor clarification to the below.

The initial port of the ISC package was done by Ken Ames, who passed on his patches to me.

The configuration appplication and packaging (ie everything but dhclient.exe) is done by Yoda, who used Soren Agers TCP/IP libraries.

Cheers,

Paul.
