This application is the command: Check the removable drive when shutdown

Usage:

EJECTCHK.EXE [option] [include drive] [/X except drive]

The input form of the command line is as follows.

In default, the drive that can be the connected taking out it is recognized automatically, and the all are checked.

There is a special drive is usually a case removable in an actually special method though it is not recognized that it can be taking out to OS, too. Please add the drive ID to the command line and execute it when you want to include the drive in the check object.

Oppositely, please add a postscript and execute command optional line "/X" and the drive ID when there is a drive that wants to admit the shutdown in the state of inserting media.

Two or more drives can be specified, and the drive specification of both parties be combined. For instance,

EJECTCHK.EXE D: E: /X F: G:

It drives if it does so and it executes it the drive ..the addition of D: E to the drive for the check.. F: G is excluded from the check object.

Option "/T" of the command line is put When EJECTCHK is executed, the list of the drive that can be taken out is enumerated. Referring might be good of the command line setting.

A command optional line is specified by combining slash (/) and the alphabet. (The alphabet doesn't distinguish capital letters and small letters. )
When two or more options are specified, each option is delimited by the normal-width null character and specified.

Moreover, if the text file that enumerates a command optional line named EJECTCHK.CFG is made for the same directory as EJECTCHK.EXE beforehand, the content is read when executing it, and it applies as an option of default. (However, it is disregarded that "/R" is optional. )


/E

Various messages become English. This option becomes default when operating in the environments other than Japanese (code page 932 etc.).

/F

When shutting down, taking out media is made an obligation. When this option is specified, the shutdown is always interrupted though it can be selected whether to force the shutdown with media inserted in default.

/R

It has already been executing it EJECTCHK is ended. Once by using this option when you want to change the operation condition etc. Please execute it again after ending EJECTCHK.

/T

he drive that can be taken out is investigated. Concretely, the message box to have enumerated the list of the drive that was able to be taken out is displayed, and the program ends at once.

It uses it to confirm the drive recognized that OS can be taking out.

/X

The specified drive is excluded from the check object since this ..the option...
