I was checking the Pixel site and found that Pixel 1 Beta 6 Pixel (2005-11-14) is available.

Please note the following additions about this announcement:

The update to Beta 6 of Pixel is only available to registered users at this point. For unregistered users the only available download is the previous Beta 5 version.

Also Pixel Beta 5 has the following requirements:

"Requirements: This is first beta release for eComStation. There are still known bugs in SDL/2 library and you may experience artifacts on screen. Please test as much as possible and report bugs to bug tracking system. It is required to have Scitech SNAP driver installed to get SDL/2 working properly.

Some of the libraries require libc06r1.dll library installed. For scanning it is recommended to install [the] SANE package."

"Pixel is a RGB, CMYK and HDR image editing, photo retouching and manipulating program available for many operating systems formerly known as Pixel32. It is available for Windows, Linux, Linspire, MacOSX, BeOS, Zeta, QNX, MorphOS, FreeBSD, eComStation, OS/2, SkyOS and even old plain DOS, for both x86 and PowerPC architectures.

Pixel is not free software, if you like it and want to support its development, you may consider Purchasing a copy. Licensing and prices are very fair, and include unlimited support."
