There are numerous changes between SeaMonkey 1.1.x and 2.0.
The most important ones are listed on http://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/seamonkey2.0/
As this release is based on Gecko 1.9.1, this means that on OS/2 we get both the advantages (e.g. solution to the transparent PNG problem) and the disadvantages (e.g. no direct printing) of the cairo-based graphics backend. The disadvantages are worked on, though.
SeaMonkey 2.0 uses a new profile directory layout. If you already have MOZILLA_HOME set (recommended to separate your profile data from the application), SeaMonkey 2.0 will be able to import most of your settings from 1.1.x. Otherwise you need to transfer some settings by hand.
The few OS/2 changes for the FF 3.5.4 release include changes to the font display (better DBCS support, no double bold characters).
Both FF 3.5.4 and 3.0.15 contain the usual stability and security fixes done in cross-platform code by the Mozilla developers. The security of SM 2.0 is at the same level.
The releases are available from http://www.mozilla.org/ports/os2/ where the ZIP packages, the README file, the MD5 checksum, and the relevant Language Pack directories are linked.
